Less than 40 of Jordan Lake's 180 shoreline miles fall within a state park. Trash arrives at 1.5 tons per significant rainfall from the Haw River watershed alone. 600,000 people depend on this watershed for drinking water. Clean Jordan Lake fills the gap.
From a single afternoon to a multi-year commitment, there is a role for every schedule and ability.
Every spring and fall, hundreds of walkers and boaters tackle the most heavily impacted shoreline. Open to all ages and experience levels. CJL provides all supplies and coordinates trash removal.

A 3-year commitment to keep a specific segment clean, with three scheduled cleanups per year. 25 active adoption sites around the lake.
